TOKYO — Japanese researchers said Sunday that a bottlenose dolphin captured last month has an extra set of fins that could be the remains of back legs, a discovery that may provide further evidence that ocean-dwelling mammals once lived on land. — AP

I did a little googling on this story, and I find that none of the usual Darwinian propaganda outlets are reporting this discovery. The only reporting is done by the news media. So I wonder why? If this is another missing link the Darwinian Priors would be flocking to the journals to spin their just so stories. Why the relative silence? Does anyone else think this is unusual? PZ Myers of Pharyngula blog is a strident atheist. He is a biology professor who promotes Darwinian propaganda materials. Besides his usual Darwinian misrepresentation of science he likes to show his ignorance of religion, philosophy and Christianity.

Ted Haggard is one of those people I genuinely despise. He’s a major leader of a conservative evangelical organization,

” conservative evangelical organization” ? Is that Myers’ characterization or Salon’s I don’t know, but being the blowhard that he is, it is hard to imagine if he disagrees with that characterization he would not correct it. If Myers has any knowledge of Haggard and Christianity, he would know that neither his New Life Church nor NAE could be considered as conservative. This is just Myers bloviating from ignorance again. NOTE: This is a re-post from an earlier OP that was lost due to the recent crash of the host server for our blog. Since I didn’t keep a copy, this is a close reconstruction from memory as to what I originally wrote and the point I wanted to make. I believe Teleologist still has the orginal comments to this OP and will add them back in.

Professor P.Z. Myers from the University of Minnesota is up to his usual no good tricks. This time around he, along with several of the regular rabid anti-ID crowd over at The Panda’s Thumb, have taken it upon themselves to discredit nearly every word from Dr. Jonathan’s Wells’ recent book The Politically Incorrect Guide To Darwinism and Intelligent Design. For those who might have an interest, Darwin’s Compete Works are now online from Cambridge University over in England. According to the news story:

Charles Darwin’s work has evolved again. Now it’s available in an online archive that launched this month.

The creators of say the Internet trove is only half complete. But it already includes manuscripts, notebooks and other material, much of which comes from the Darwin Archive at Cambridge University.

Works include the first edition of the “Journal of Researches” (1839) (or “Voyage of the Beagle”), “The Zoology of the Voyage of HMS Beagle” (1838-43) and “The Descent of Man” (1871). The archive has multiple editions of “On the Origin of Species.”

There are also Darwin’s letters and journals as well. For research purposes, this could be a good website.
